Whimsical Treehouse Paper Art

This colorful, whimsical treehouse wall art is made with hand cut paper art. To craft this beauty I drew the tree and house on brown cardstock. I then cut out the design with a craft knife and layered more brown paper in behind to create the tree's texture. I then hand cut all the colorful elements that make this piece unique and fun. I layered window curtains, a vase full of flowers and the doors behind the treehouse while adding plants, lights and a flowering vine in front of the treehouse to create depth. The 4x6 inch art piece was then framed in a 5x7 inch mat board.
